I’m Slava Vishnyakov, a developer of the series of “TheRarest* projects”, TheCraziestIdeas, Suggestan, flim.me. I’m in the outskirts of Moscow, Russia.
The projects described here are my hobby projects:
- RarestBlog - this blog, tells about what I do and some ideas
- Suggestan - “If you …. then you should ….”-format humorous discussions.
- Flim.me! - “If you liked those movies - you’d love those too”. Software that helps you find out which movie you’d enjoy. Free.
- Semantic kernel bot - bot that finds semantic kernels and some technology testing with it.
- CraziestIdeas - project that gives recommendation to those who don’t think “Bikini Inspector” is enough
- TheRarestWords - define the word on one page and it appears everywhere, all edits are seen by all people in real-time
- RarestNews /temporarily disabled/ - the news from 50 000 sources that don’t even have RSS [under re-development now]
My idea for the Web is that it still could be fun. And there are still lots of better ideas to do more than to poop out yet another Social Network or yet another search engine. All those projects are developed in free time. Rest of the time (usual job) I’m a web-guy for a furniture store.
